Rolls Royce Wraith rolls into India today (19th August) and brings the best of luxury and performance from the world’s most luxurious car maker. The new fastback design exudes elegance and power. The company known for its powerful luxury cars had only one thing in mind; they wanted to design and build their best, as it did not exist. The Wraith can only be described in the superlative, it is their most luxurious, most powerful and the sportiest Rolls Royce car ever built. It is their time honoured, handcrafted piece of engineering excellence.
Wraith is based on the Rolls Royce Ghost but has a lot more going for it. Chiselled lines flow from the front grille towards the rear giving the front a sinister look thanks to its aggressive styling. Frameless doors lead you inside to an epitome of interior elegance, features and luxury. The two-tone body paint ensures a marvellous look and the fastback body styling with beautifully designed wheels lends it the dramatic and powerful presence that one have come to expect of Rolls Royce.
Beauty and the beast, all in one. The design is complimented by clever engineering. The new Rolls Royce Wraith brings eight speed automatic Satellite-Aided-Transmission to ensure precise and effortless gear shifts. It boasts of a short wheelbase and a powerhouse of an engine. The twin turbo V12 delivers a scorching 624 BHP of power and has a 0 – 100 kmph time of just 4.4 seconds, while the top speed has been electronically restricted to 250 kmph. It also brings powerful brakes and suspension tweaked to handle all that extra power. It’s a hyper luxury car that offers a comfortable ride with plenty of power to spare.
Rolls Royce which is 109 years into luxury car making first produced the Wraith in 1938. It has launched the new Wraith in India at a price of Rs. 4.6 Crore making it one of the most luxurious and expensive cars in the Indian car market. Rolls Royce is expanding its dealer base and will be adding two more dealers in Chandigarh (this October) and Ahmedabad (in August) respectively. This takes their total dealer number to 7 in the country.
Rolls-Royce Wraith today began its 3 month, multi-city tour of India, premiering in the country’s capital, New Delhi. Delhi will celebrate the start and finish of Wraith’s tour across India. Rolls-Royce’s latest model will be the centrepiece of various events that will be held for customers and media in cities including Mumbai, Chandigarh and Hyderabad. This would be the longest time Rolls Royce has marketed any of their cars in any country.
The Rolls Royce Wraith is also more performance oriented over Rolls Royces’ two other offerings in India; Phantom and Ghost.
